A week long stay, with flights included, your exquisite trip Indus will introduce you to the mind blowing flavours of both Syrian and Mopla cuisine.
Here’s what The lucky winner and a friend will be doing...
Saturday: Depart from London or a regional UK airport on Emirates Airlines
Sunday: Arrive at Cochin, India. Transfer to the hotel before spending an afternoon sightseeing and visiting Cochin’s famous Thekkumbhagom synagogue.
Monday: Spend the day with Nimmy & Paul. Master the fine art of the barter as they take you to the market place for local vegetables and meats before enjoying a hands-on demonstration of Syrian Christian cuisine. In the evening you’ll experience an authentic Kathakali cultural show.
How to Win!
Simple. Anyone who registers for a full year’s membership to the British Curry Club over the next four months will be entered into the draw for this incredible prize. Not only will British Curry Club membership save you hundreds, and ensure your copy of Chaat! every two months – it could provide you with the holiday of a lifetime! The winner will be drawn from the database of new club members on August 31 and will be personally featured in the December issue of Chaat! magazine.
Tuesday: Transfer to a houseboat and enjoy another freshly cooked meal mid-cruise before arriving at Philip Kutty’s farm.
Wednesday: Relish in an entire day’s cooking demonstration and sea food masterclass on the Kutty family farm.
Thursday: Transfer on an early morning train journey to Tellichery. Arrive at Ayesha Manzil and experience Kerala’s most powerful ritual art: Theyyam.
Friday: Enjoy your final day of Indian cooking mastery with Faiza Moosa.
Saturday: Enjoy your final day before departing on an evening flight to the UK from Calicut.... Or take an optional beach extension for three nights for a small extra cost!
Terms & Conditions
1. Open to UK residents aged 18 or over except employees of British Curry Club, their immediate families, or anyone professionally connected to this competition.
2. The winner will be decided by the Chaat! staff in accordance with the closing date. Winners will be notified within two weeks of August 31.
3. By entering, you agree to be bound by these terms and conditions. Entries that do not comply with the terms and conditions are invalid.
4. This prize is not transferable, and a cash alternative are not available.
5. By entering, winners agree to their names and general locations being used for publicity purposes by Chaat!, Indus and the British Curry Club.
6. For confirmation of the winner, prior to its publishing in the December issue, please send a stamped envelope to Chaat!, Windsor House, Stuart St, Cardiff Bay, CF10 5BW stating Trip Of A Lifetime competition.
7. Any breach of these competition rules by an entrant will void their entry. Misrepresentative or fraudulent entries will invalidate an entry. The Editor's decision is final and no correspondence will be entered into.
8. Chaat! and Indus reserve the right at any time to cancel, modify or supersede the competition (including altering prizes) if, in our sole discretion, a competition is not capable of being conducted as specified.
9. British Curry Club will not be liable for any loss or damage arising out of the winner's (or their guest's) enjoyment of this prize.
10. In the event that part of the prize needs to be cancelled there will be no equivalent value prize offered in return.
